A Message from District Governor Donald (Dean) D Porter
The year is almost over and we have had a great time visiting all of the clubs in the District. It has been a wonderful experience meeting so many people that we have not had experience with in the past and learning what Lions, Lioness and Leo's are doing in our new District.
We had excellent luck this winter in scheduling our visits. We only had to postpone four visits. Two because of the weather, one because of illness and one because of a scheduling conflict.
The quilt, which Partner-in-Service Maude raffled off during our visits, netted $1,231.00 which will be used for a Disaster Relief Program being planned by DGE Dean Porter. More information will be out on this program as soon as the plans are finished.
